The Saints of February
In February the Orthodox Church remembers many saints; Orthros carries 64 of their lives, on 27 of the month's days. Among them are St Haralambos (February 10), St Polycarp of Smyrna (February 23) and St Isidore of Pelusium (February 4). The month also keeps the Great Feast of the Meeting of the Lord (February 2). Dates are on the New Calendar; on the Old Calendar a fixed feast falls thirteen days later.
