The Saints of April
In April the Orthodox Church remembers many saints; Orthros carries 55 of their lives, on 30 of the month's days. Among them are St George the Great Martyr (April 23), St Nicetas the Confessor (April 3) and St Zosima of Solovetsk (April 17). Dates are on the New Calendar; on the Old Calendar a fixed feast falls thirteen days later.
