The life of St Theodotus of Cyrenia
Freed when Constantine granted peace to the Church, he returned to his see and reposed in peace about 326, a confessor.
Hieromartyr Theodotus, Bishop of Cyrenia
Theodotus, a Galatian by birth and bishop of Cyrenia on Cyprus, preached Christ openly under Licinius and gave himself up to the governor Sabinus rather than let others suffer in the search for him. Beaten, hung on a tree and raked, and imprisoned, his endurance and words turned many to Christ.
