The life of St Myropea of Chios

Fleeing to Chios under Decius, she secretly buried the body of the Martyr Isidore against the governor's order; when the guards were condemned in her place, she confessed what she had done to save them. Beaten and imprisoned, she reposed in prison as St Isidore appeared with angels, and a sweet fragrance filled the place.
