St Job the Longsuffering

Righteous Job the Longsuffering

Job was a righteous and God-fearing man of the land of Uz, blessed with children and great wealth, whom God permitted Satan to test. In a single day he lost his children and all he had, and his body was struck with sores, yet he did not sin or curse God but blessed His name.
