Trinity Week

The week that follows Pentecost is kept fast-free, even on Wednesday and Friday, in honor of the Holy Spirit newly poured out, the last of the Paschal-season's gladness before the Apostles' Fast begins on the following Monday. It is the fourth of the year's four fast-free weeks. Rejoice in the gift of the Spirit; for the measure of what comes next, look to your parish priest.
